Shri Amaravala Laxmanvala (1895, r. 1922 – 1960)
He was the third darbar of Luni, adopted by Shri Laxmanvala Meravala and succeeded as a darbar of Thana Devli. Here we can see how kings and rulers used photographs in different manners to show their creativity. Here different portraits have been placed strategically on a decorative teak wood frame. The portraits are of the ruler’s son and his brothers composed like a family tree using different studio photographs.
