Prince Umedsinhji (1873 – 1940) of Kota
Originally named Udaysinh, he was adopted at a young age by Shatru Sal II – the Maharaja of Kota. Here he is with the principal (1878 -1902) of Mayo College – Cornell William Loch, where he studied. The studio image has a painted backdrop.
