Sir Jam Ranjitsinhji Vibhaji

Sir Jam Ranjitsinhji Vibhaji (1872 – 1933)

Often known as Ranji, he was the Maharaja Saheb of Nawanagar from 1907 to 1933. A progressive ruler and statesman, he set an example of simplicity through his personal life. He modernised the capital of Jamnagar and developed the seaport of Nawanagar.
