Maharaja Bhagwatsinhji (1865 – 1944) of Gondal
Reigned under a British regency until he came of age. He was educated at The Rajkumar College, Rajkot. He improved the regional live stock through modern husbandry. Published the first Gujarati encyclopedia, the ‘Bhagavadgomandal’.
