Maharaja Umedsinhji

Maharaja Umedsinhji (1873 – 1940) of Kota

Post completion of his studies, he was invested with complete ruling powers and received honours in the Delhi durbar. Before opening their own studio in 1894, both Herzog and Higgins worked at Raja Deen Dayal and Johnson & Hoffman studios as apprentices.
