Shri Karansinhji (1871 – 1909)
The younger brother of Maharao Khengarji, Rao of Kutch, he represented his brother at the Queen Victoria’s Golden Jubilee celebration in London. This gold lacquer photograph will never fade, or produce spots. This Japanese technique was patented on December 26, 1891.
